Hi, I’m Amanda, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who’s passionate about helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges and discover meaningful paths forward. I work with teens (ages 12 and up), adults, and families, and I believe therapy should be a supportive, down-to-earth space where you can show up just as you are, no pressure.
I have a special interest in supporting people working through depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, low self-esteem, and relationship challenges. I enjoy incorporating mindfulness and relaxation techniques into sessions using practical, accessible tools that can make a real difference in everyday life. My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in meeting each client exactly where they are. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) techniques, mindfulness practices, and a strengths-based perspective.
In addition to individual therapy, I offer family therapy with teens and their parents or caregivers. I especially enjoy working directly with parents and caregivers to strengthen communication, foster connection, and support more harmonious relationships at home. Whether you’re coming to therapy to work on personal growth, heal from trauma, or improve family relationships, I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, curiosity, and encouragement.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m someone who deeply values connection and community. I love spending time with my family, getting outside to enjoy the sunshine, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and finding joy in simple, everyday moments with my two kiddos and husband.
Therapy isn’t about having all the answers, it’s about showing up, being real, and doing the work together. I’d be honored to be a part of your journey.
